Welcome to Rumor's website!
Rumor is my first Field Spaniel and what an introduction to the breed he is!! Formerly an owner and breeder of Irish Setters I moved from California to Maryland after my last Irish Setter died. Once in Maryland, alone and dogless after years of showing and loving dogs I knew something was missing from my life.
I was introduced to Sarah W. Evans of Wood Duck Field Spaniels when I started grooming her dogs. Soon I was showing her dogs on a limited basis as well as grooming them. After knowing Sarah and her dogs for awhile we became good friends. She offered me "pick of the litter" on a fine breeding that she had just had. I watched Rumor grow up from the day he was born and had a very special feeling about him. Not only was he the most beautiful Field Spaniel I had ever seen, he had personality oozing out of every pore!
Rumor came home with me and he is now four years old. He has truly become my "once in a lifetime" dog and my best friend! Come meet my best friend RUMOR!
